Just now we have a request from one of our Swedish clients for 2 x Linux/Unix/Windows Administrators.

Please note: In your reply, please indicate which assignment you are applying for.

As our client explained:

We are looking for two Linux/Unix/Windows Administrators.

Assignment 1:
- Build / Install OS (Windows or Unix), and Base VM Software
- Excellent understanding of TC/IP & IP configuration of Servers for both Windows and Unix
- Create Virtualized servers
- Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures.
- Excellent understanding of Raspberry PI, and similar devices
- Perform backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media recovery or disks are created.
- Create, change, and delete user accounts per request for both Windows and Unix.
- Automation and Scripting in both Windows and Unix environment
- Installation Public domain software for both Windows and Unix
- Good understanding of IP/Subneting

Assignment 2:
- Over 5 years of Unix Systems Administration experience that includes installing, configuring, and maintaining various Unix operating systems, including RedHat, CentOS, Ubuntu, etc.
- Build and compile public domain software/tools for these Unix environment
- In depth understanding and experience in various Storage systems (i.e. SAN, NAS, iSCSI, etc.)
- In depth understanding and experience in various Network File systems (i.e. AFS, NFS, DFS, etc.)
- Manage and maintain servers in a High Availability Clustered environment.
- Build virtualize server environment, using Citrix and VMWare
- Extensive skill in scripting languages (Perl, various Shell languages)
- Experience installation, upgrades, patches, and backups
- Monitoring and tuning of Unix systems to achieve optimum performance levels.
- Develop operating procedures and standards, and automation of daily activities
- Perform manual and automated routine system audits of servers to verify compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines for security
- Develop and promote operating procedures and standards, and document all the procedures
- Develops and maintains a comprehensive operating system hardware and software configuration database/library of all supporting documentation.
- Excellent understanding of TC/IP & IP configuration of Servers for both Windows and Unix
- Good understanding of IP/Subneting
- Excellent understanding of Raspberry PI, and similar devices

Duration: Both assignments - 3 to 6 months, with a possibility of extension.
