As our client explained:
Assignment Description
Assist the Software team in the Engineering Department which is leading product development in the area of cyclotrons. The assignment is the software development part of the program for a new product with first delivery 2017.
In 2016 the project is planned to deliver:
- SW support for sub systems needed by other development projects within the program
- Implementation of functionality required by customers, service and production.
The consultant will develop software for control systems of the cyclotron product. The tasks will include hardware related embedded systems and communication with other high level systems.
Tasks:
- New functionality for controlling subsystems
- Implementing communication layers and commands between systems
- Support implementation for better software layering structure within control system
- Review hardware solutions from a software perspective to provide feedback to hardware team
