Just now we have a request from one of our Swedish clients for a Services Technician with knowledge of Linux.

Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Services Technician provides technical service and support to existing and new services delivered by ITTE for the customer, which includes:
- Creation of cost effective solutions by developing, planning, implementing the solution and supporting the other Service Delivery sub-processes (e.g. requirement handling, preparation & setup).
- Continuous development of already existing solutions from a technical, functional and business point of view
- Ensure quality and cost efficient Solutions by reviewing Solutions developed by others.
- Initiate, drive and manage knowledge sharing and innovations within the area of the responsibility of the role
- Build efficiency and effectiveness around solution related activities through sharing knowledge related to solution planning activities and other relevant areas across the ITTE organization.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of the organization through actively driving or participating in improvement initiatives.
Key IT Technical competences
Primary:
- LINUX Server Skills (WindRiver, Ubuntu, SLES, RHEL etc.) on HP and DELL
- IP Networking skills, IPv4 and IPv6
- JUNOS (Juniper), Cisco ACS and EXOS (Extreme)
- NFS/AD/LDAP and L1, 2 and 3 switching configuration
- Cloud computing and VMware ESX/ESXi and vSphere
- NAGIOS
Secondary:
- Storage competence (e.g. EMC, DELL, NEC)
- Knowledge about Virtualization, preferably OpenStack and KVM hypervisor
- UNIX server skills on Sun Solaris HW
- CRON management
Duration: Until the 2016-08-22, with a possibility of extension.
