Experts in designing products for energy efficiency - Telecom
Just now we have a request from one of our Swedish clients for Experts in designing products for energy efficiency (Telecom).
Please note: These assignments are based in Stockholm. International travel is required for 25% of the assignment. These can be long term assignments. Initially for 3 months, they can be extended to up to one year or more. They are senior positions.
Assignments will be located within the following Project areas:
- Wireless product design for energy efficiency, or
- Core network product design for energy efficiency, or
- Energy efficiency related design method or software tools.
Responsibilities - Technical planning:
- Undertake the planning and designing of energy saving features.
- Ensure the functionality of these features.
- Establish the design requirements of these features.
Responsibilities - System design:
Provide high energy efficiency solutions through creating tradeoffs between:
- Performance and power consumption.
- Cost and reliability.
Responsibilities - Key technologies:
Be able to participate in the undertaking of a Pre-study on disruptive technologies of dynamic power management.
Most important technical skills required:
- Very good experience as a design Architect, (software or hardware or power supply design) from the telecom industry.
- Experience from designing for energy efficiency.
- Experience from working with embedded systems.
- Experience from IT or telecom (wireless or network) system.
Duration: Initially 3 months. With a successful completion of the initial period, these assignments can be extended for a year or longer.

Place: Stockholm (International travel is required for 25% of the assignment).
